Anna and I have spent the last week and a half or so in the state I still consider home: Michigan. We spent time with Anna’s parents, as well as mine, and we greatly enjoyed our time here. I managed to procrastinate writing about it until now, which leaves me approximately 13 minutes before we’re supposed to hit the road to Ohio, so I’ll have to be brief on the details and just share some photos showing off how awesome Michigan is.
Tunnel Park in Holland, MI. One of my favorite Lake Michigan beaches. Last one in is a rotten egg.
Same place: Tunnel Park. This is usually the point at which I can hardly contain my desire to sprint into the water as fast as humanly possible.
Here you see our two protagonists sailing on a beautiful Michigan summer day. Anna’s mom is here too, which was great fun! Thanks to Anna’s dad for taking the great picture!

Phoebe posing for a glamor shot during a walk around the Dyer Family Farm, just outside of Ann Arbor.
Scenery at the Dyer Family Farm. This lucky photographer found himself in the perfect place at the perfect time.
That’s it for now. More later. Check out the new map link at the top of the page!
