Hair Dye, Pt. II

If you remember, the last post about our time in Philadelphia included a sassy pic of Anna’s newly-dyed hair!  It’s so cool it has garnered compliments from our friends we’re visiting, daily compliments from Garrison, as well as one from a pretty hip-looking teenage girl we passed while walking around the city.  Remember: purple is the new awesome.

Well, in the caption to the aforementioned photo, I mentioned that if that particular post to the blog got at least 50 visitors, there’d be a photo of your favorite world wanderer/amateur blogger when he had his hair dyed a sort of blueish-greenish!  Well, you all took care of your side of the bargain (quickly, I might add!), so….  The moment has come then, to unleash a photo of Garrison during his college years while he had some funky hair!  Ladies, gentlemen, I give you 21-year-old Garrison!

I look as though I wasn't quite ready for this photo, but the real story behind this photo is that I really wasn't ready to 'grow up' and do my student teaching yet, so I rebelled for a whole summer in between my junior and senior years of college, dying my hair a few times in the process.

While Garrison looks as though he wasn’t quite ready for this photo to be taken, the real story behind this photo is that he actually just wasn’t ready to ‘grow up’ and do his student teaching yet, so he rebelled for a whole summer in between his junior and senior years of college, dying his hair a few times in the process.

There you have it, folks.  Thanks for reading!

Also, in case you’re curious, the Harry Potter marathon continues to go well.  We’re into book 5 already.  Constant vigilance!
