Thailand and Cambodia: You basically need to travel here some day

Southeast Asia has been an absolute blast so far.  We have been eating really good food.  We have been following the advice from Garrison’s last post and wearing sufficient amounts of sunscreen.  We’ve learned how to say ‘hello’ and ‘thank you’ in three more languages than we used to know.  We’ve gotten lost, and we’ve worked it out.  We’ve celebrated a 31st birthday.  We’ve seen the 8th wonder of the world: Angkor Wat.

Angkor Wat: the world's largest religious building.

Angkor Wat: the world’s largest religious building.

One piece of advice for anybody traveling to Cambodia: those cute ugly monkeys sure are fun to watch will knock your bikes over, open your unattended backpacks and eat things it finds in there like money, and chase your spouse around while onlookers decide the best thing to do is to take pictures of this happening.

Here’s a little video to catch you all up with what we’ve been up to during our time in Thailand and Cambodia so far.  Enjoy!

  1. What an awesome video Anna and Garrison! Ya’ll are so pro. And thank you for your postcard! It’s lovely. Also, loved the polar bear plunge with Gina and Dan – how special that you all could be together for NYE! Lots of love! Christina
